Penny Brohn Cancer Care (formerly Bristol Cancer Help Centre) provides complementary care, The Bristol Approach, to people with cancer and their loved ones. The charity’s approach works hand-in-hand with medical treatment, providing a unique combination of physical, emotional and spiritual support using complementary therapies and self-help techniques, including practical advice on nutrition. This complementary approach can transform lives–giving people practical tools to improve their daily quality of life and helping to manage the fear of cancer.

Green People Raise Significant Funds for Charity

Leading UK Cancer Charity receives £16,000 from product sales

At the Official Opening of Penny Brohn Cancer Care in Pill, near Bristol, Green People donated a cheque for £16,000 to the Charity after donating 30 pence from the sale of nine of their top-selling products, which goes directly towards helping people with cancer and their loved ones.

 “As passionate supporters of Penny Brohn Cancer Care we at Green People were delighted to be invited to the very special official opening. The atmosphere of tranquility and healing that has so successfully been created in every area of the Centre, inside and out, makes it a very welcoming place for those who will be in need of advice, inspiration and nurturing. We wish you every success in your quest to enable cancer patients and their families live and cope at such a difficult time”.

For Penny Brohn Cancer Care, formally Bristol Cancer Help Centre, working with Green People has been a great way to spread awareness of the Charity, as well as raising much needed funds. All courses run by the Charity are heavily subsidised through money raised or donated as there is no Government funding.
Charlotte Vøhtz, founder of Green People, was also at the event to present the cheque.
