15th September 2011 - Organic lifestyle and Green People skin care for the whole family
This month is no longer just Organic Fortnight, the whole four weeks are rebranded into Organic September. The Soil Association have busily coordinated an array of promotional activity which explains and promotes the benefits of UK organic food, agricultural techniques, beauty and more. Green People also liaise closely with other certification bodies involved with their brand lines, such as Ecocert and The Organic Food Federation.
Organic skin care pioneers Green People have long believed in Organic lifestyle; from before the early kitchen table set-up in the 90’s, right through to 140 award winning lines today. Their innovative product ranges all harness the power of Phyto Science, to deliver outstanding skin care in highly concentrated, recycled packaging. The advertising straplines confidently tell you that ‘a little goes a long way’ – and with organic actives comprising up to 99% in some products, this kind of comparison is in powerful contrast to many averages of just 0.5 – 6% in high street Cleansers, for example.
The Green People founder is Charlotte Vøhtz, the ‘Third Most Influential Personality’ in the Natural Beauty industry’ - Natural Beauty Yearbook 2010. The company also have an impressive status within the industry, and enjoy an ever growing list of product awards, to boot. Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2011 – 6 lines, Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible 2011 – 3 products, Natural Health Beauty Awards 2011 - Overall Winner and several other category listings, Shout Magazine Awards 2011 – Deodorant listed, and Green Living (Norway 2011) ‘BEST in test’ Organic Children’s Sun SPF25.
Green People actively blog about issues and concerns aswell, including commentaries on legislation (or lack thereof) around beauty labelling and formulations.
