DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Pour 30ml sunscreen into your cupped palm then apply to body 30 minutes before exposure to sun then every 2 hours or after swimming.

creams have stopped this. I have just come back from a week in Spain and I

"We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Tenerife and for the first
time ever i never got any nasty rashes from suncreams because i used yours. It
was fantastic it just felt and smelt like a lovely organic moisturiser. Myself
and my husband used the factor 15 and our 7 year old daughter had the childrens
25 no scent they were very effective. the only thing i would say would it be
possible to make the children's in a spray formula as the cream takes a bit of
rubbing in and she like all kids has no patience. thank you once again for your

thought the Edelweiss Sun Lotion Spf15 with Tan Accelerator and After Sun
Lotion is.
I recently went on a two week cruise round the Caribbean - so strong winds
and powerful sun. I used the above mentioned sun lotion and found it to be be
very good - I have very pale skin and have always burnt and peeled on past
holidays (I'm 39 so have had a few of them!). I've always come back from
holidays where I've got a suntan and started to peel. On this occasion I haven't
- I used your After Sun
Lotion during the holiday and have continued to use it one week later (and
will continue until my tan disappears!).

Q. Does this sunscreen still allow
Vitamin D through?
Sunlight does not contain Vitamin D
– this is manufactured in the skin as a result of UV exposure. As sun screens
reduce the amount of UV rays reaching the surface of the skin, they will
automatically reduce the amount of Vitamin D that will be produced.
Having said that, our bodies do not need prolonged exposure to sunlight to
produce sufficient Vitamin D. It is estimated that as little as 10 minutes
exposure of unprotected face and arms will generate sufficient Vitamin D for
daily needs. Therefore, even when using a high factor sun lotion, a couple of
hours exposure of face, arms, legs and possibly trunk will give ample Vitamin D
production. Couple this with the fact that our bodies can store excess Vitamin D
for several months and there is no risk of Vitamin D deficiency from the use of
any sun lotion.
Q. Just a question regarding tan
accelerator,is this a small amount of self-tan or is it a specific ingredient
which speeds up the tanning process?
The Sun Lotion SPF15 with the sun
tan accelerator is designed to increase the melanin in the skin and therefore
encouraging a tan. It is not a self tan product.
Q. Is this a non comedegenic sun
screen? I get prickly heat and I am looking for a non sticky/greasy sun screen
that does not block the pores like you used to get years ago before everything
was waterproof. Thanks.
Many sun creams and lotions contain
ingredients designed to make the products waterproof. Unfortunately, these can
often prevent the skin from breathing properly, which in turn can aggravate
irritating conditions such as prickly heat. Green People’s sun lotions do not
interfere with the normal function of the skin and many customers have reported
that they have used them without getting the prickly heat that they usually
suffer from when using other brands of sun lotion.
Q. Please can you advise if this
product and the after sun are compatible with homeopathy treatment.
The SPF15 sun lotion is compatible
with homoeopathy treatment. The G006 After Sun Lotion does contain Peppermint
oil which some homoeopaths advise should not be used in conjunction with
homoeopathic medication however.
