Ingrown Hairs
Caused by hair growing back into the skin and never reaching the surface (and
most common in Afro-Caribbean men or those with curly hair) ingrown hairs occur
when the hair follicle becomes infected and plugged with sebum at which point a
sore red bump can form.
Ingrown hairs can be dealt with and prevention is better than cure. However
the problem can be exacerbated by ethyl-alcohol based, skin drying products for
