Green People’s organic shampoos give beautiful, silky hair with natural shine!

Green People offer a wide range of shampoos using natural and organic formulations. We don’t include harsh chemicals such as Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) or Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES). Instead, Green People shampoos are based on the mildest cleansing and foaming agents derived from vegetable oils including corn and coconut.

Not tested on animals, these organic shampoo formulations are suitable for even the most sensitive skin and scalp and are highly concentrated so only a small amount is needed. Proper cleansing of the hair and scalp is fundamental for healthy, beautiful hair.

Did you know that many high street shampoo brands are made up of 80-90% water?

Consumers are becoming more aware that the majority of high street brands contain chemical foaming agents such as SLS and SLES which are known skin and scalp irritants, as well as synthetic colourings and fragrances which are common allergens.

Fewer people are aware that many brands use water to bulk out their products. In some cases between 80-90% of the total content is water, whilst gelling agents are added to thicken products, making them appear richer and more concentrated. Not the value for money the price tag would lead you to believe.

Green People formulations are pure, rich and highly concentrated shampoos which are not bulked out with water. As no water is added to these formulations, you only need to use a small amount. In general, 200ml of the Aloe Vera, Moisturising or Rosemary shampoo is equivalent to between 600ml and 800ml of many conventional products.
