Travel Size Sun Lotion SPF15

I took your SPF15 with tan accelerator on my recent holiday to Spain - it was great! I started suffering from prickly heat a couple of years ago and holidays turned into a nightmare! I used your sun lotion, and had no signs of prickly heat, didn't burn at all, and got a lovely tan. Thanks very much, I will use it every year now.

For years I have suffered with prickly heat from big name brand sunscreens, so I was worried for my Honeymoon. WOW is all I can say, i purchased SPF25 and SPF15 with tan accelerator for 2 weeks in the Maldives and I came back with the most amazing tan I have every had, and not one bit of prickly heat....thank you guys for a wonderful product, I intend to buy more for this years holiday.

I had a severe allergic reaction to sun lotion two years ago ,resulting in me staying out of the sun and not booking the annual family holiday abroad. I was advised to look at these products and decided to be brave and give them a shot. I tried it in the sun in this country and my skin was ok. I have just returned from a week in Majorca with a fab tan and no reaction. Will always use this sun lotion and would advise it to anyone.

"Further to my conversation, I would just like to reiterate how effective I thought the Edelweiss Sun Lotion Spf15 with Tan Accelerator and After Sun Lotion is.

I recently went on a two week cruise round the Caribbean - so strong winds and powerful sun. I used the above mentioned sun lotion and found it to be be very good - I have very pale skin and have always burnt and peeled on past holidays (I'm 39 so have had a few of them!). I've always come back from holidays where I've got a suntan and started to peel. On this occasion I haven't - I used your After Sun Lotion during the holiday and have continued to use it one week later (and will continue until my tan disappears!).

I buy a lot of your products on a regular basis (have been for over a year now) and find them all to be very good."

Just had to write a quick note, having recently returned from a short break away in the Caribbean ie: very hot climate. I used your SPF 15 sun lotion and after sun lotion for the first time and I was simply amazed at how my skin looks and feels. I did not burn at all and I used the after sun lotion at the end of each day and my skin has never felt so soft and moisturised. I was truly amazed that after a long flight back to the UK I had no dry skin at all on my body which I always have immediately after the flight and at least for a few days. I already use other of your skin care products but will certainly be recommending the sun care range to my friends. Thank you Green People for my lovely tanned, smooth looking skin.

Sunlight does not contain Vitamin D – this is manufactured in the skin as a result of UV exposure. As sun screens reduce the amount of UV rays reaching the surface of the skin, they will automatically reduce the amount of Vitamin D that will be produced.

Having said that, our bodies do not need prolonged exposure to sunlight to produce sufficient Vitamin D. It is estimated that as little as 10 minutes exposure of unprotected face and arms will generate sufficient Vitamin D for daily needs. Therefore, even when using a high factor sun lotion, a couple of hours exposure of face, arms, legs and possibly trunk will give ample Vitamin D production. Couple this with the fact that our bodies can store excess Vitamin D for several months and there is no risk of Vitamin D deficiency from the use of any sun lotion.

The Sun Lotion SPF15 with the sun tan accelerator is designed to increase the melanin in the skin and therefore encouraging a tan. It is not a self tan product.

Many sun creams and lotions contain ingredients designed to make the products waterproof. Unfortunately, these can often prevent the skin from breathing properly, which in turn can aggravate irritating conditions such as prickly heat. Green People’s sun lotions do not interfere with the normal function of the skin and many customers have reported that they have used them without getting the prickly heat that they usually suffer from when using other brands of sun lotion.

The SPF15 sun lotion is compatible with homoeopathy treatment. The G006 After Sun Lotion does contain Peppermint oil which some homoeopaths advise should not be used in conjunction with homoeopathic medication however.

Our Sun Lotions conform with the latest EU Recommendations that state that sun lotions must provide UVA protection equal to at least one third the protection they offer against UVB. All of our sun lotions comply with this recommendation and are therefore classed as offering broad spectrum protection. We do not use the Star-Rating system as this is owned by Boot’s the Chemist, who license other companies to use it.

Our sun lotions can be used on face and body. They have a moisturising base to help keep skin soft and hydrated. If you did want a specific facial moisturiser with sun protection, we have a choice of SPF moisturisers.
