20 years ago, Green People was founded on a strong set of beliefs and values, with the desire to give back to the community and to help others. To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are giving 20 people the chance to win £1,000 each to help change the world for the better.
If you have an idea for a community project, whether you want to spruce up an urban area, start a free-to-attend yoga class, or kick-start a charity scheme, we want to hear your ideas and why you deserve to win £1,000 towards your idea.
Our ‘Change the World’ campaign, which is open for entries until 31st July 2017, allows us to spread this positive impact to communities all around the UK, and to give passionate people the chance to make a difference where they live.
‘Change the World’ is supported by Professor Alice Roberts, the renowned anatomist, author, broadcaster and Green People’s official science communication advisor and brand ambassador. Alice says:
“This is a chance for people to think of a way they’d like to make a positive change and to get some support to make their dream a reality. I’m delighted to be helping Green People in their quest to spread around some positivity and inspire people to change the world for the better.”
