Ingredients we never use are: Parabens, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), harsh foaming agents, SLS/SLES, gluten, petrochemicals, mineral oils, silicones, lanolin, phthalates, triclosan, propylene glycol, irritating emulsifiers, synthetic fragrance, ethoxylated ingredients...

Green People are and always have been totally opposed to any cruelty to animals. Since starting the Green People in 1997, we have operated to the following principles:

We do use Palm Oil in some of our products. The palm oil used in Green People products is from certified organic sources. Palm oil is a fantastic natural ingredient added for its moisturising and skin protecting properties...

The taste of children’s toothpastes is suited more for children than adults as they are slightly sweeter. The adults can be used for children and vice versa.

We do not use the ‘star rating’ system as this is now owned by Boots the Chemist, who licence other companies to use it. The ‘star-rating’ system is not the only way to tell if a product offers protection against UVA rays. 

Our sun creams can be used from newborn, however we recommend keeping young babies out of the sun as much as possible, especially for the first 6 months. 

The only difference between the Adults and Children's Sun Lotions is that the Adults’ contains Green Tea, Marshmallow, Chamomile & Citric Acid whereas the Children’s’ doesn’t. This makes the Children’s ever so slightly thinner in consistency for their more fragile skin. 

This can happen if air gets locked inside the pump. There are 2 things you can do to combat this:

The ingredients in both our normal Sun Lotion SPF30 & our Facial Sun Lotion SPF30 50ml are similar, however, the quantity of each ingredients differ and the Facial Sun Lotion is ever so slightly thinner in consistency.

The majority of ingredients used in Green People formulations are 100% compatible with nature and biodegrade very readily. 

You can usually tell when the product is getting low as it becomes very light. However, you can see exactly how much is left by shining a torch through the bottom of the product.
