Olive trees are native to the Mediterranean and since ancient times, olive oil has been used as an anti-ageing remedy, as a cleanser and a moisturiser. 

  • Rich in Squalane, which is ideal for sufferers of dermatitis, eczema, acne and psoriasis
  • Antioxidants protect against free radical damage and vitamin E helps to restore elasticity

Olive oil also contains essential fatty acids that dry skin needs, including oleic, palmitic, and linoleic acids. It also contains phenolic compounds that provide antioxidant benefit.

Applied externally it is useful for dehydrated, sore and inflamed skin and is also used as a remedy for arthritis when rubbed onto the affected parts.

Tara Bush

Caesalpinia spinosa, more commonly known as Tara Bush, is a small shrub native to Peru that can also be found in drier parts of Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Remarkably, this hardy plant is able to absorb fog, helping to replenish groundwater and provide a source of drinking water in periods of drought.

Used in combination with the Seaweed, Enteromorpha compressa, Tara Bush helps to increase skin moisture levels, elasticity and firmness by maintaining collagen and elastin. When used on the skin, this combination of Tara Bush and Seaweed encourages cell regeneration so that cells can be replenished at the same rate as they degrade, resulting in fewer wrinkles and a smoother, more youthful complexion.
