This is the only organic styling product I can find so well done. It works, probably not as effective as others but with the beauty of its benefit to myself and environment. More styling products would be great, I would recommend it but unless someone has a realisation of the benefits involved it's pointless it's not your products that need promoting as they are great, it's the reason why!

I used it on wet hair to stop my naturally thick curly hair going frizzy. It worked and didn't leave me with unmanageable hair the next day.

Key Plant Actives

Avocado

Originating in Central Mexico, Avocados are now grown in warm climates all around the world.

  • Wide range of nutrients including 11 vitamins and 14 minerals
  • Rich in antioxidants to reduce damage from free radicals
  • Scientists in California have reported that Avocado oil contains an as yet unidentified substance that has the ability to stimulate ageing collagen to rebuild itself

A 1991 study shows that Avocado oil may mobilize and increase the collagen content of connective tissue

Vitamins A, D, and E, when applied topically, act as powerful antioxidants and free radical scavengers.  When combined together they promote natural collagen production in the skin therefore helping to improve skin’s texture, firmness, smoothness, and even pigmentation.

Also known as: Persea gratissima oil

Ginger

This extract is an effective anti-inflammatory, reducing the production of prostaglandins and leucotrienes by inhibiting the enzymatic activity involved in the arachidonic acid pathway.

Ginger extract also inhibits the activity of the enzyme Collagenase which is responsible for breaking down and destroying Collagen, one of the key components of the skin’s extra cellular matrix.

By protecting Collagen, the integrity of the skin structure is preserved.

  • Strong anti-inflammatory ideal for inflamed, irritated skin
  • Protects against Collagen breakdown preserving integrity of the skin structure

Also known as: Zingiber officinale root extract

Quinoa

Pronounced ‘keen-wa’, this nutrient rich plant originates from South America, where it has been grown as a nourishing grain crop for centuries.  Quinoa is a gluten-free protein.

Quinoa is intensely conditioning and enhances the softness and shine of your hair, making it more manageable and easier to style. Coating every hair shaft, Quinoa delivers volume and body for hair that looks thicker and fuller. Quinoa is considered a complete protein, boasting all 8 essential amino acids, which penetrate each hair shaft for powerful protection and improved vitality. Studies show that Quinoa protein boosts shine for natural brilliance, with the gloss-value improving by over 50% after just 5 washes.

As part of our new Colour Lock System for colour treated hair, Quinoa protein has been shown to improve colour uptake, lock in colour and limit rinse-off and fading. Studies show that Quinoa protein helps limit colour fade by up to 20% and increases colour vibrancy even after 10 cycles of washing.
