Green Tea extract is a rich source of antioxidants called Catechins which have powerful activity against free radicals. Free radicals cause oxidative damage to fats (lipids) and skin cells, and are responsible for many aspects of premature ageing.
Green Tea extract also inhibits the activity of enzymes that are responsible for the break down of collagen - the underlying structure to the skin.
By protecting collagen, the integrity of the skin structure is preserved.
Also known as: Camellia sinensis leaf extract
Mandarins originate from China and were introduced to Europe in the beginning of the nineteenth century.

Willow Bark is a rich source of naturally occurring salicylic acid. Salicylic acid has long been used to enhance skin cell turnover, to smooth the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and to have a balancing action on the production of the skin’s natural lubricant sebum.
Willow Bark extract offers the same skin benefits as salicylic acid, but does not irritate the skin.
Also known as: Salix nigra bark extract
Prebiotics support the growth of beneficial bacterial flora, while restricting the growth of harmful or undesirable bacteria.
In skin care, Prebiotics are a highly effective anti-blemish ingredient, used to reduce the risk of acne and spot formation and to maintain a healthy skin balance.
In natural deodorants, Prebiotics restrict the growth of bacteria that cause body odour, while encouraging beneficial, protective bacteria. Green People uses a combination of Prebiotics, Potassium Alum and Zinc Ricinoleate in its natural and organic deodorants, which provide 24-hour protection against bad odours.
