How to apply your cleanser or face wash
A daily cleansing routine morning and evening is important for healthy looking skin.
It is important to cleanse the skin in the morning to remove fats, waste products and dead skin cells so your skin will be able to breathe.
It is especially important to cleanse the face and neck before bedtime - to remove the day's dirt, grease and make-up.

Why is it important to remove your make-up?
Foundations and coloured day creams pollute your skin and prevent it from breathing so a good cleansing routine is essential to enable your skin to repair and restore.
When you cleanse your skin you stimulate the blood circulation and essential nutrients and actives will more easily be absorbed through the skin.
At night your skin works to form new, fresh skin cells which renew your skin. Without removing make-up you are stopping the restorative power of your skin.
Skin cleansing tips
- Cleanse your face and neck at least one minute morning and evening.
- Select the cleansing product suitable for your skin type (depending on season)
- Do not wash your face with too hot or cold water - both can damage the small blood vessels in the skin.
- Do not use cleansing products that contain alcohol (ethanol/ethyl alcohol) - they remove the skin's protective layer of natural fat, and over stimulate the glands to increase fat production.
- Exfoliation should be part of your cleansing routine to remove dead skin cells and performed twice a week
