I use this instead of your age defy moisturiser which is very expensive and I don't really find any difference to my skin between the two products except one costs twice as much

I love the natural fragrance of this night cream - it's delicious! I occasionally use it in the day time too - I have dry skin and find I need some extra tlc every now and again. It's simply lush!

This is the last thing I put on my face as I go to sleep.

I use this at nights on my very eczema prone face - don't know where's I'd be without it

Key Plant Actives

Hemp

Hemp seed oil is one of the world's richest sources of polyunsaturated fats, including both Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids.

  • Excellent natural emollient and moisturiser
  • Soothes and restores dry or damaged skin
  • Penetrates easily into skin, leaving it soft and supple
  • Good for normal, large-pored and oily skin, as well as skin prone to psoriasis, eczema or acne

Hemp oil is also a valuable dietary supplement. It is unique in its composition as it contains many of the Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) that the body requires for healthy day-to-day operation.

These EFAs are present in the right ratio for optimum absorbance into the body.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus extract is rich in Anthocyans, which have specific activity in protecting cell integrity and DNA in the cell nuclei.

Hibiscus extract also inhibits the activity of the enzyme Elastase which is responsible for breaking down Elastin, the principle factor in maintaining the elasticity of the skin.

By reducing elastin degradation, skin elasticity is increased thereby reducing sagging and wrinkle formation.
  • Preserves skin cell health by protecting DNA in the cell nuclei
  • Increases skin elasticity by reducing elastin degradation
Also known as: Hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract

Pineapple

Pineapple extract is rich in the substance Bromelain which is a protein digesting enzyme.  Applied to the skin this enzyme breaks down the protein bonds (corneodesmosomes) that hold dead skin cells onto the surface of the stratum corneum.

This allows excess dead cells to be shed from the skin, exposing younger, more vibrant cells and refining the complexion.

  • ‘Invisible’ chemical exfoliation – intercellular ‘glue’ that attaches dead skin cells to the surface is broken down
  • Skin is refined and looks younger
  • Combined with ‘skin whitening’ plant complex with Hibiscus to enhance whitening effect

Also known as Ananas sativus fruit extract or Bromelain

  • Well documented anti-ageing activity, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Ideal for sensitive skin or when skin is exposed to UV light or radiation
  • High levels of Linoleic (Omega-6) and Linolenic (Omega-3) essential fatty acids
Also known as: Rosa moschata seed oil
