Why do you use Limonene, Linalool and Geraniol?

The reason that limonene, linalool and geraniol appear on the ingredients list on many Green People organic beauty products is because they are naturally present in the essential oils used to scent the products. We do not add them as isolated fragrance ingredients.

If you have diagnosed allergies to any of these ingredients, we recommend trying our Sensitive range.

This is made for ultra-sensitive skin and is completely free from perfume or essential oils.

Limonene linalool and geraniol in our products

Green People is always transparent about the ingredients used in our natural and organic products and you will notice that some of our scented products feature the following ingredients: benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, citral, citranellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, isoeugenol, limonene and linalool.

To be clear, we do not add any of these ingredients to our formulations. However, because they are naturally present in some of the pure and natural essential oils that we use to scent our product, we are legally required to declare them on our ingredients list.

Shop scent-free and sensitive

Rich in natural and organic plant extracts, this gentle collection nourishes, calms and balances to support and comfort your complexion.

Discover some of our bestsellers below or browse all of our scent-free products. These are completely free from limonene, linalool and geraniol.
